New Delhi: In a major boost to Delhi’s rural infrastructure, Cabinet Minister and Bawana MLA Ravinder Indraj Singh on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹47.26 crore, reinforcing his commitment to transforming Bawana into a modern and prosperous constituency.

The ambitious projects, launched in the presence of PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, include the Kanjhawala Road Drain Project and the Rural Redevelopment Project for Rohini Sectors 20 and 21. The initiatives are expected to significantly improve drainage infrastructure, expand civic amenities and promote balanced development across both rural and urban pockets of the constituency.

Addressing a large gathering of residents and community leaders, Ravinder Indraj Singh described Bawana as a key part of Delhi’s rural landscape and reiterated that its development remains a top priority. He said the constituency is witnessing unprecedented growth under the Double Engine Government and announced that additional development works worth nearly ₹60 crore will soon be launched.

“The pace of development in Bawana is now unstoppable. We are committed to providing permanent solutions to long-pending issues and ensuring that every resident benefits from better infrastructure and public services,” Singh said.

Highlighting the broader vision of the government, he credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta for driving infrastructure expansion and rural upliftment across the national capital.

Local residents, social workers and public representatives welcomed the projects, describing them as a significant milestone in Bawana’s development journey. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens and BJP workers, reflecting strong public support for the ongoing transformation of the constituency.

With fresh investments, expanding infrastructure and a pipeline of upcoming projects, Bawana is steadily emerging as one of Delhi’s fastest-developing rural constituencies under the leadership of Ravinder Indraj Singh.
