
Chennai: The prestigious Social Leaders & Visionaries Conclave 2026 was held on a grand scale in Chennai, bringing together international delegates, retired judges, IPS officers, academicians, peace ambassadors and social leaders for a global dialogue on leadership, education and humanitarian values.
Organised in association with United American University for Leadership and Excellence, the conclave emerged as a major platform promoting global peace, ethical leadership, educational excellence and social responsibility.
The event was presided over by former Tamil Nadu judge Dr K. Venkatesan, Founder and Director of the university, who stressed the importance of justice, educational empowerment and humanitarian service in nation-building.
Prominent dignitaries attending the conclave included Dr Parvinder Singh, former Delhi Minorities Commission member Anastasia Gill, Russian delegate Alesia Frolova, educationist Sandeep Kumar and retired district judge M. Rajalakshmi.
Senior police officials, legal experts and peace ambassadors also participated in the conclave, including IPS officer R. Ramakrishnan and global peace ambassador Shameer A.M. Yousuf.
A major highlight of the event was the conferment of honorary doctorate titles and international excellence awards upon distinguished personalities for contributions in law, public service, international relations, human rights, education and humanitarian work.
Among the awardees, Dr Haridoss received the honorary title of Doctor of Social Work, while Nitya Gupta was honoured with Doctor of International Relations. IPS officer R. Ramakrishnan was conferred with the title of Doctor of Public Service for contributions to law enforcement and public welfare.
Anastasia Gill and former public prosecutor P. Rajendran received honorary Doctor of Law titles, while Sandeep Kumar was honoured with Doctor of Human Rights for his work in education and advocacy.
The conclave also featured leadership discussions, networking sessions and intellectual exchanges focusing on education, innovation, peace initiatives and social development. Organisers said the event aimed to celebrate visionary leaders whose work contributes towards humanity, knowledge and global harmony.
The successful event further reinforced Chennai as a growing hub for international educational collaboration, cultural exchange and leadership recognition.
