London / Balochistan: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released a video message marking the first death anniversary of Banuk Mahikan Baloch, a member of the Majeed Brigade’s Fidayeen Unit.
According to the statement, the video was recorded by Banuk Mahikan Baloch for her family members and has now been made public to commemorate what the group described as her “supreme sacrifice” for the Baloch cause.
The BLA said that on 2 March 2025, Banuk Mahikan Baloch carried out a self-sacrificing mission in Kalat city, during which she targeted a vehicle belonging to the 61 Wing Commander of the Frontier Corps (FC). The organisation stated that the attack formed part of its ongoing campaign in the region.
In its message accompanying the release, the BLA paid tribute to Banuk Mahikan Baloch and said her words were intended to remind the Baloch nation that the efforts of “sons and daughters” seeking the liberation of Balochistan were continuing to grow stronger with time.
The video message was circulated through the group’s media channels on 2 March 2026 to coincide with the anniversary of the attack. The statement was signed by Azad Baloch on behalf of the BLA’s Majeed Brigade.
