The Republic of Balochistan has issued a public appeal to radio jockeys (RJs) and disc jockeys (DJs) across India, requesting their support in sharing a message of goodwill and solidarity during upcoming morning broadcasts.
In a statement addressed to “the proud patriots of India,” the Republic praised radio personalities for their nationwide influence, describing them as “storytellers of a nation” whose voices reach millions daily — from major urban centers such as Mumbai to remote villages in the Northeast, from Rajasthan to Tamil Nadu.
The message emphasized the cultural and emotional power of radio in India, calling it a medium of companionship, trust, and connection that reaches homes, taxis, tea stalls, offices, and marketplaces across the country.
With what it described as “deep respect and friendship,” the Republic of Balochistan requested that Indian FM platforms consider broadcasting a special message aimed at strengthening bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and shared cultural ties between people beyond borders.
According to the statement, the proposed broadcast would serve as “a gesture of solidarity” and “a voice of unity resonating across generations.” The appeal underscored the belief that radio has the power to unite millions simultaneously and reinforce values of peace, dignity, and brotherhood.
The statement was issued in the name of the Republic of Balochistan and signed by Mir Yar Baloch.
