International Desk: The Republic of Balochistan has issued a sharply worded statement condemning what it describes as a serious breach of sovereignty by Pakistan, following reported cross-border missile and aerial strikes into eastern Afghanistan.
According to the statement, the strikes allegedly targeted civilian-populated areas in Kunar province, resulting in the deaths of four children and injuries to dozens more, including women and elderly residents. These claims have not been independently verified.

The Baloch statement further accuses Pakistani forces of launching additional missile attacks in contested border regions, including Shorabak, Spin Boldak, and Luqmanabad, areas that lie along the volatile frontier between Afghanistan and Balochistan. It alleges that civilian settlements in these regions have again borne the brunt of the violence.
In a dramatic escalation of rhetoric, Baloch representatives called on Pakistan’s military to withdraw from what they termed “illegally occupied” Baloch territory, warning of further consequences if their demands are not met. The statement also urged Afghan authorities to bolster military readiness along the Durand Line, a long-disputed border between the two countries.
The declaration claimed that “sixty million Baloch” stand united with Afghanistan, framing the situation as part of a broader historical struggle against what it described as decades of repression and regional destabilisation attributed to Pakistan.
Pakistan has not issued an immediate response to these allegations. The situation, if confirmed, risks further inflaming tensions in an already fragile region marked by longstanding territorial disputes and insurgent activity.
Analysts caution that such statements—laden with calls for territorial revision and military mobilisation—could heighten instability unless addressed through diplomatic channels.
