The Republic of Balochistan has publicly endorsed remarks by India’s Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, asserting that Pakistan lies at the heart of international terrorism.
In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, Baloch representatives drew a sharp contrast between India’s emergence as a global information technology powerhouse and what they described as Pakistan’s role as a hub of “international terrorism”. The statement alleged that this status is not accidental but rooted in systemic practices.

According to the release, Pakistan’s militant infrastructure is sustained through the exploitation of Balochistan’s natural resources. It claimed that revenues derived from these resources are used to finance, train and arm militant networks, which are then deployed across India, Afghanistan and beyond by Pakistan’s military and intelligence apparatus.
The statement further urged India, neighbouring countries and the wider international community to take a “principled stand” by recognising Balochistan as an independent state. It argued that sovereignty would enable the region to protect its resources, strengthen its political and military institutions, and contribute to long-term regional stability.
Baloch representatives concluded that an independent Balochistan could serve as a foundation for enduring peace in South Asia, particularly in relation to India and Afghanistan.
