
SUNDERBANI, Sumbits a memorandum to PM and Education Minister though DC by AKHIL BHARTIYA RASHTRIYA SHAIKSHIK MAHASANGH, a national Level organisation of teachers, unit Rajouri has demanded an amendment in RTE Act 2010 which makes TET , mandatory for all in-service teachers. In this regard A delegation of ABRSM led by District President Devinder Khajuria,met Deputy commissioner Rajouri and submitted a memorandum to Prime minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan demanding relaxation of TET to in service teachers. A press conference was also held at Hotel Signature Rajouri in which the speakers termed TET for in-service teachers as unjust and discriminatory. The Press conference was addressed by District President Devinder Khajuria, District Organising Secretary Bharat Bhushan and State General Secretary ABRSM Gulshan Raina. Speaking on the occasion Mr Raina said that TET is a basic qualification at the time of recruitment but making it mandatory for already appointed teachers is against the dignity of National builders. If RTE was implemented in time, the onus is with govt. He said that ABRSM always favours every move which aims at Quality Education but not at the cost of future of in-service teachers. He said that it is not just to put Question mark on the ability of teachers taughts who have reached the top of their career.
