New Delhi — A new chapter in the world of cinema unfolds as the 18th Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2026 and the 9th New Delhi Film Festival (NDFF) 2026 get ready to begin at Bharat Mandapam and India International Centre from February 12 to 15, 2026. With an inspiring theme of “Filmmakers First This Year,” filmmakers from over 40 countries are set to gather in Delhi, showcasing the city’s evolution as a global hub for the film industry after nearly two decades.
The festival will feature 21 filmmakers from 21 countries, who will inaugurate the event, emphasizing the diversity and talent present in the international film community. A special highlight will be a Rajasthani cultural program, which promises to showcase the rich heritage and vibrant traditions of the region, enhancing the festival experience for attendees.
On the opening day, three remarkable films from different countries will be screened, offering audiences a glimpse into global cinema’s myriad perspectives. This carefully curated selection aims to foster cultural exchange and understanding among filmmakers and audiences alike.
