New Delhi, NCR(Chandan Singh, Page 3 News Worldwide): The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, recently hosted an impactful session with Mr. Vinay Thakur, Special Director General at BISAG-N, Ministry of Electronics & IT, and former Managing Director of NICSI. A national expert in Digital Governance and Cybersecurity, Mr. Thakur provided valuable insights on critical aspects of India’s digital future.
During his address, Mr. Thakur highlighted India’s rapidly evolving Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), including initiatives such as Aadhaar, UPI, DigiLocker, and BharatNet. These initiatives, he noted, have transformed governance, public service delivery, and citizen empowerment, all aligned with the vision of the Digital India movement spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The session also focused on the importance of cybersecurity in protecting the country’s growing digital ecosystem. Mr. Thakur stressed the need for robust frameworks to safeguard against rising cyber threats and discussed the urgent need for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) to secure future technologies. He emphasized that Digital India is not just a program but a transformative movement, ensuring inclusive access to services and strengthening India’s position as a global digital leader.
The event, attended by IICA faculty and students, fostered an interactive discussion on data protection, cloud security, and the role of emerging technologies.
