MANESAR(Delhi NCR): The Prasha Cooperative Group Housing Society, GH23, Sector 1, Manesar, organised a two-day free health and eye check-up camp on August 8 and 9 under RBL Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, ‘Dhanvantari’.

The initiative sought to make essential healthcare services more accessible to the community while promoting preventive healthcare, regular health screening and early detection of health concerns.

The Dhanvantari Mobile Health Van, accompanied by a team of qualified doctors and healthcare professionals, provided free medical screening and consultations during the camp.

Residents and members of neighbouring residential societies availed themselves of general health check-ups, blood pressure screening, blood sugar testing, eye examinations and vision screening, medical consultations and wellness guidance. Free reading spectacles were also provided to those requiring them following eye examinations.

Inclusive Community Participation

The camp received an enthusiastic response from residents as well as people from neighbouring societies. Special efforts were made to include members of the community engaged in essential day-to-day services, including domestic helpers, security guards, housekeeping staff, drivers, gardeners and other support personnel.

People from different age groups and sections of society participated in the health screenings and medical consultations, underlining the camp’s focus on inclusive community healthcare.

The initiative also highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare and regular health check-ups, enabling health concerns to be identified at an early stage and facilitating timely intervention.

Management Committee Supports Initiative

The Management Committee of The Prasha Cooperative Group Housing Society played an active role in organising and coordinating the two-day camp.

The initiative was supported by Dr Lata Suresh, Vice-President; Adv Uma Shankar, General Secretary; Mr Ashish, Treasurer; and Mr Poras, along with other members of the Management Committee.

Dr Lata Suresh said the initiative went beyond routine health screening and helped strengthen health awareness, preventive healthcare and social responsibility within the community.

“We are delighted that not only our residents but also domestic helpers, security personnel, housekeeping staff and people from neighbouring societies participated enthusiastically in the camp,” she said.

She expressed appreciation to RBL Bank, the Dhanvantari medical team, Management Committee members, residents and participants for contributing to the successful organisation of the camp.

‘Healthy Community, Stronger Together’

The successful completion of the two-day initiative demonstrated how CSR programmes and community participation can help bring essential healthcare services closer to people from diverse sections of society.

The organisers said the camp was aimed not only at increasing health awareness but also at contributing towards a healthier, more inclusive and compassionate community.
