Gurugram: The Montessori Graduation Ceremony and Primary Annual Function of Ryan International School was celebrated with grandeur and reverence at Apparel House, Epicentre, marking a proud milestone for its young learners. The event gained added significance as it formed part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations — commemorating 50 Glorious Years of the Ryan International Group of Institutions.
The solemn ceremony commenced with the Lord’s Prayer, Bible reading and a special invocation, seeking divine blessings for the graduating students as they embark on a promising academic journey rooted in faith and values. The Golden Jubilee year pays tribute to the visionary leadership of Founder Chairman Dr. A. F. Pinto and Managing Director Dr. Grace Pinto, whose legacy continues to shape generations of learners.
The celebration unfolded with melodious praise and worship songs, followed by a graceful Welcome Dance and a formal Welcome Address. Distinguished guests including Air Vice Marshal Rajesh Bhandari, Colonel Ranbir Singh Jakhar, Mr. Rohtash Choudhary, Mr. Arun Marwah, Dr. Tejinder Kataria, Mr. Sumit Singh, Ms. Faizi Khan, Ms. Tanya Aggarwal and Ms. Seema Sahai were honoured during a heartfelt felicitation ceremony. Esteemed alumni members also graced the occasion, adding pride to the celebration.
An unparalleled embodiment of inspiration and grace, Director Madam Sonal Pinto marked her majestic presence at the ceremony. Addressing the gathering, she encouraged parents to nurture their children with faith, confidence and strong values. Emphasising holistic education and character formation, she remarked that every child is uniquely gifted and capable of shaping a meaningful future. Her heartfelt message deeply resonated with parents and educators alike.
The young performers captivated the audience with a charming Montessori Dancing Choir and a touching musical skit titled “You Are Special,” celebrating the individuality and potential of every child — a philosophy integral to the Ryan ethos.
The highlight of the event was the Montessori Graduation Ritual, where the tiny graduates were formally inducted as confident learners ready to embrace the future. The central theme, “Brave the Present and Rise to the Future,” was beautifully portrayed through a thematic student presentation.
A specially curated Golden Jubilee video showcased the institution’s remarkable 50-year journey of academic excellence, global outreach and nation-building, guided by the 12 Vision Points envisioned by Dr. A. F. Pinto.
The ceremony also recognised student excellence through the Montessori Achiever Awards (Mont I, II & III) and Primary Achiever Awards (Classes I–V), honouring academic and co-curricular accomplishments.
The vibrant cultural segment celebrated India’s unity in diversity, followed by an energetic music medley. The much-awaited Ryan Prince and Princess Presentation added sparkle to the event, highlighting confidence and personality among young participants.
In her inspiring address, School Principal Ms. Sajeeta Iyer applauded the dedication and perseverance of the students and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Sonal Pinto for gracing the occasion. She also acknowledged the unwavering support of parents and teachers in shaping confident, value-driven individuals.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks and the singing of the School Anthem, reaffirming commitment to values-based education and global citizenship.
