Suva: Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka met senior Indian BJP leader Dr Vijay Jolly in Suva, with the meeting highlighting the longstanding friendship and growing cooperation between Fiji and India.
According to posts shared on X, Prime Minister Rabuka conveyed warm greetings to Dr Jolly on behalf of the Fijian government and underlined the close relationship between the two countries, built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to advancing cooperation.
Dr Jolly, in his X post, said he admired the hardworking Indian community and noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had conveyed greetings to Fiji’s Prime Minister.
The meeting comes against the backdrop of the enduring people-to-people and diplomatic ties between India and Fiji, with both sides emphasising friendship, mutual respect and continued cooperation.
