New Delhi: The Republic of Balochistan has issued a fresh ultimatum to Pakistan, demanding the immediate withdrawal of all Pakistani military and security forces from Balochistan, while calling on the international community to recognise Balochistan as an independent country.
In a post on X dated August 19, the Republic of Balochistan alleged that the Pakistani Army is illegally stationed in the region and accused it of exploiting Balochistan’s natural resources and minerals while posing a threat to the lives, property, businesses and peace of local residents.
The statement declared the presence of Pakistani forces in Balochistan “illegal” and called on the international community to take emergency measures to facilitate their withdrawal, including forces involved in defence, security, border protection and control of land, sea and airspace.
The Republic of Balochistan further demanded that Pakistani personnel serving in the Army, Frontier Corps, police and other institutions, as well as Pakistan’s air and naval forces, surrender military equipment allegedly belonging to Balochistan before leaving the territory.
The statement claimed that Pakistan had already lost the ground war in Balochistan and warned Islamabad against what it described as further violence against Baloch civilians. It urged Pakistan to recognise Balochistan’s claimed independence, asserting that such recognition was in Pakistan’s own interest.
The Republic of Balochistan concluded by calling for Pakistan to announce a clear withdrawal date and deadline, while insisting that its forces should leave Balochistan without taking military equipment with them.
