Bhubaneswar: Patriot youth from Odisha took to the streets on motorcycles in a show of solidarity with the Republic of Balochistan, marking August 11 as Balochistan Independence Day, according to a post on X.
The bike rally, shared on social media, featured participants expressing support for the Balochistan independence cause and observing #11AugustBalochistanIndependenceDay.
The rally comes amid renewed international attention on the Balochistan question and calls by Baloch activists for recognition of their independence aspirations. The Republic of Balochistan remains unrecognised by any country or major international organisation.
The Odisha youth’s rally reflects how the Balochistan issue is also finding expressions of solidarity beyond the region, including among sections of Indian youth.
