In a powerful show of support, the Republic of Balochistan has issued a message of solidarity to Israel, Australia, and the global Jewish community during Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. The Baloch people stand united in grief and resilience, drawing parallels between their own struggles for freedom and the enduring spirit of the Maccabees.
As part of their message, the Baloch government has lowered its national flag to half-mast in a gesture of mourning and respect for the lives lost in the recent terrorist attack on the Jewish community in Sydney. The attack, which targeted innocent people gathered in celebration, has been met with outrage and sorrow, particularly as the alleged attacker is reported to have ties to Pakistan.
The Republic of Balochistan condemned the violence, pointing out the long history of extremism and state-sponsored terror linked to Pakistan, a nation that has sheltered numerous militant groups over the decades, including those that incite hatred against Israel and other nations.
The statement also highlighted the international community’s failure to take decisive action against Pakistan’s role in fostering extremism, citing past atrocities such as the 9/11 attacks and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
“The time has come for the world to take principled action against state-sponsored terrorism,” the message declared. “The people of Balochistan stand with you, in grief and courage, and together we will work towards healing, justice, and peace.”
The Baloch people expressed hope that solidarity among free peoples will overcome terror, and that the light of truth will outshine the darkness of hate.
