Bangkok/Ayodhya: In a unique spiritual journey that bridges cultures and geographies, Thai citizen Raju Chan has embarked on an extraordinary pilgrimage from Ayodhya in Thailand to Ayodhya in India, drawing attention from both Thai and Indian communities.
The pilgrimage commenced at the Thai temple Wat Phangchan in Ayodhya, Thailand, under the guidance of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh Thailand Pracharak Umesh Mishra and social worker Chandrashekhar Dubey.
According to organisers, Chan will first walk from Ayodhya, Thailand, to Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok. From there, he is scheduled to fly to Delhi on March 30. Upon arrival in India, he will resume his journey on foot from Delhi Airport to the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, passing through the sacred towns of Vrindavan and Mathura.
The pilgrimage has been described by supporters as a symbol of faith and cultural connection between Thailand and India. Members of both communities have extended their support, praising Chan’s dedication and courage.
Well-wishers have also urged people along the route — including at airports and along the Uttar Pradesh Expressway — to greet and encourage the pilgrim during his journey.
Community representatives said prayers are being offered for a smooth and uninterrupted यात्रा (journey). The information was shared by Jimmy Mishra.
