NEW DELHI: The Republic of Balochistan extended heartfelt Raksha Bandhan greetings to Hindu women across Balochistan, describing their safety, dignity and honour as a collective responsibility.
In a message issued on August 28, the Republic of Balochistan said Raksha Bandhan symbolises the bond between brothers and sisters based on love, trust, respect and protection.
The statement stressed that strong relationships are not defined by religion but by “love, humanity, and mutual respect”.
Highlighting Baloch cultural traditions, the Republic said women have historically held a place of honour and dignity and described Hindu women in Balochistan as “our sisters”.
It further said their safety, dignity and protection were the collective responsibility of every Baloch brother.
The message reaffirmed that every sister should feel safe, every daughter should receive respect, and every individual should be treated with dignity and equality in Balochistan.
The Republic of Balochistan concluded its message with warm Raksha Bandhan greetings to all Hindu sisters.
