
Leaders from judiciary, education, healthcare and public service unite to celebrate excellence and ethical leadership.
PUDUCHERRY: The Social Leaders & Visionaries Conclave 2026, jointly organised by the Indian Forum for Social Leaders & Achievers (IFSLA) and the United American University for Leadership & Excellence (UAU), USA, was held with grandeur at Kamban Kalaiarangam in Puducherry on Saturday, bringing together eminent personalities from diverse fields to celebrate leadership, innovation and service to society.
A major highlight of the conclave was the presentation of Honorary Doctorate Awards to distinguished achievers in recognition of their exceptional professional accomplishments and significant contributions to society. The event also featured an inspiring seminar focusing on ethical leadership, education, social responsibility and sustainable nation-building.
The conclave was presided over by Hon’ble Judge Dr. K. Venkatesan, Founder and Director of United American University and former Judge of the Judiciary.
Prominent dignitaries in attendance included Dr. Deepak Chawla, General Secretary of the Republican Party; Dr. R. Dhanapal, Chairman of the Indian Institute of Public Administration, Puducherry Regional Branch; Dr. R. Sampath, senior medical practitioner; Prof. P. Amirthavalli, Vice Chancellor of United American University; and Dr. S. Siddarthan, Hon’ble Arbitrator, Madras High Court of Judicature, Chennai.
The gathering also welcomed distinguished guests including Dr. Prasad Babu Jayanthi, Professor and Research Director at JS University and former Vice Chancellor of Maestro Global University, Malaysia; Shri Chanda Lingalah Dora, former MLA from Telangana; Dr. Haridoss, retired Assistant Commissioner of Police; Dr. K. Sukumara, National President of Bharat Scouts and Guides; and Dr. M. Ramachandra, President of Bharatiya Seva Samithi and Joint Director of UAU.
Speakers underscored the growing need for value-based leadership, social commitment and collaborative initiatives to address contemporary challenges. They commended UAU and IFSLA for creating an international platform that recognises individuals whose work has positively impacted communities across sectors.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. N. Madhan, Programme Coordinator, UAU, who acknowledged the contributions of the dignitaries, awardees, delegates, sponsors and organising committee in ensuring the success of the conclave.
