
Jimmy Mishra Bangkok: The Indian Association of Thailand – IAT witnessed an emotional leadership transition. The incumbent, who served as President from 2022 to 2026, formally handed over the reins of the IAT to Mr. Nikhorn Sachdev.
At the swearing-in ceremony, he said, “Over the past four years, we have celebrated Indian culture, strengthened community bonds, promoted sports and youth engagement, and taken India-Thailand relations to new heights.”
Praising the new President, Nikhorn Sachdev, he said, “I am confident that Nikhorn will take the IAT to even greater heights with his proven leadership, experience, and dedication to the community.” My best wishes to him and his team for this new journey.”
Addressing the community, he emotionally said, “Leadership is temporary, but service to the community will always be.”
He thanked all IAT members, sponsors, supporters, and his dedicated executive, saying that they have all been a part of this glorious journey.
According to IAT sources, under the leadership of new President Nikhorn Sachdev, the organization will further accelerate welfare and cultural programs for NRIs.
