New Delhi: Delhi Social Welfare, SC/ST/OBC Welfare, Cooperatives and Elections Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh inaugurated a new Ayushman Arogya Mandir at the Community Hall in Punjab Khore, describing the initiative as a major step towards ensuring quality, affordable and accessible healthcare for every citizen in the national capital.

Addressing residents and Health Department officials, the Minister said the Delhi Government is committed to bringing free primary healthcare services closer to people’s homes. He emphasised that Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are not merely healthcare centres but a vital investment in building a healthier and stronger society through preventive and community-based healthcare.

The newly inaugurated facility will offer a comprehensive range of primary healthcare services, including doctor consultations, essential medicines, diagnostic tests, maternal and child healthcare, immunisation, routine health check-ups and other essential medical services under one roof. The Minister noted that the centre would improve early access to treatment while easing the patient load on major hospitals.

Ravinder Indraj Singh said the Delhi Government, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, is focused on strengthening the Capital’s healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that quality medical services are accessible, effective and citizen-centric across all neighbourhoods.
