New Delhi: In a grand ceremony at the Satya Sai International Auditorium, United American University conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Social Activities upon Dr Kavita Sinha, celebrating her remarkable contributions to society and cultural outreach.

Opening the event, Chancellor Michelle Andrews hailed Dr Sinha as “a visionary leader whose compassion and creativity resonate across continents.” The citation, read before a packed audience, highlighted her postgraduate research in sociology, impactful grassroots initiatives, and her unwavering commitment to amplifying women’s voices.

Dean of Social Sciences Dr Rajiv Malhotra presented the doctoral hood and certificate, commending her efforts in fostering cross-cultural dialogue. A visibly emotional Dr Sinha dedicated the honour to “every woman, every volunteer, every dreamer who believes in the power of community,” drawing loud applause.

Beyond academia, Dr Sinha has carved a global identity as a digital creator, with her YouTube channel—followed by over a million subscribers—showcasing authentic recipes and cultural narratives from around the world. Her work demonstrates how culinary traditions can transcend boundaries and unite communities.

The ceremony, attended by over 500 dignitaries and international delegates, concluded with a vibrant classical dance performance, underscoring the celebratory spirit of the occasion. Plans to establish a foundation in her name later this year further signal her expanding legacy.
