Bangkok: Ambassador of India to Thailand H.E. Shri Puneet Agrawal met a delegation led by Mr. Rahul Laxman Patil, prominent Indian researcher, youth engagement advocate and security analyst, at the Embassy of India in Bangkok.
The delegation comprised Mr. Avneesh Kabra, Mr. Rahul Laxman Patil and Mr. Ravi Kishan.
Discussions focused on strengthening India–Thailand cultural ties, shared heritage, cultural cooperation, people-to-people connectivity and youth engagement, particularly ahead of the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2027.
The delegation discussed opportunities for cultural exchanges, heritage-awareness programmes, traditional arts, academic interactions, exhibitions, seminars and youth cultural initiatives to connect communities, institutions and young people in both countries.
Mr. Patil emphasised youth-led diplomacy, civilisational dialogue and cultural cooperation, highlighting the importance of creating opportunities for young Indians and Thais to interact directly, understand each other’s traditions and contribute to the future of bilateral relations.
Patil is known for promoting international and regional cooperation, social harmony and cultural unity across South and Southeast Asia.
The meeting reaffirmed culture, shared heritage, people-to-people connectivity and youth participation as important foundations for carrying the India–Thailand friendship into a new generation.
