New Delhi: With the Assembly elections approaching, BJP candidate Amiya Kanti Das has intensified his campaign in the Dholai constituency, receiving an enthusiastic response during a series of Sakti Kendra meetings across Narsingpur Mandal on Thursday.
Back-to-back meetings were held in Samacharanpur, Rajgobindpur, Rajghat, Madhya Chandighat, Baghewala and Hardhanpur, witnessing significant participation from party workers, supporters and local residents. At Samacharanpur, Das expressed encouragement over the active involvement of grassroots workers, while in Rajgobindpur, he voiced confidence about securing victory, citing growing public support and sustained organisational efforts.
Addressing a gathering at Rajghat, he said the “warm response” from people across areas was inspiring and strengthening the campaign momentum. At Shivbari in Madhya Chandighat, Das underlined the increasing booth-level mobilisation, asserting that “the time for change has come” and that the campaign was advancing with people’s backing.
Meetings in Baghewala and Hardhanpur also saw spontaneous participation, further boosting the candidate’s confidence. Das remarked that the rising desire for change in households was easing the path towards electoral success.
The programmes were attended by Narsingpur Mandal office-bearers, including the president and general secretary, along with Sakti Kendra in-charges, booth presidents, and members of the Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha. Local community figures and voters were also present in large numbers.
During the day, Das also participated in a religious event at Channighat Kalyan Ashram on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, where he invoked the ideals of Mahabir Hanuman, emphasising strength, devotion and selfless service as guiding principles for societal development. He also offered prayers for public welfare.
Political observers note that the series of meetings has helped strengthen the BJP’s organisational base in the region. Campaigning on the plank of a “developed Dholai”, Das expressed confidence of victory, banking on worker unity and growing public trust.
