Prachinburi: The Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) Thailand has organised a relief operation to support flood-affected families in Amphoe Banteng, Prachinburi Province, distributing essential supplies and extending assistance to those affected by the disaster.
The initiative reflects the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — “the world is one family” — and the organisation’s commitment to serving humanity without discrimination.
During the relief operation, affected families received ration supplies, clean drinking water, first-aid kits, clothing and other daily necessities. HSS volunteers worked tirelessly to collect relief materials and deliver them directly to families in need.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the local Thai administration and community partners to ensure that assistance reached those affected. Alongside the distribution of essential goods, volunteers offered reassurance and emotional support, reminding families that they were not alone during this difficult period.
Jimmy Mishra, Publicity Chief of HSS Thailand, said that collective efforts were essential to ensuring the campaign reached those in need. He emphasised the importance of coming together in the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, recognising humanity as one family.
The organisation also expressed heartfelt gratitude to donors and partners whose contributions helped make the relief operation possible.
Reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian service, HSS Thailand said its relief and service initiatives would continue in the future. The campaign highlights the importance of solidarity, compassion and community participation in helping people overcome challenging circumstances.
