New Delhi: Delhi’s Health Minister, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, today inaugurated the Medical Innovation Centre (MIC) at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), marking a significant step forward in healthcare innovation. The Centre, the first of its kind in any government medical college in India, aims to address pressing healthcare challenges with digital health innovations and medical device design.

In his address, Dr. Singh emphasized that the MIC aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, contributing to the development of affordable healthcare solutions. He lauded the Centre for its potential to create breakthroughs in vaccines, diagnostics, and AI-driven medical solutions. The Minister highlighted the role of artificial intelligence and robotics in transforming healthcare, underscoring the Centre’s role in driving efficiency and accountability within Delhi’s healthcare system.
