Islamabad: The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has released a new video purporting to show its alleged attacks and military operations across Balochistan during September, while claiming that 105 Pakistani security personnel were killed and 52 wounded during the month.
The separatist organisation said it carried out 94 armed operations in different parts of Balochistan, including 63 improvised explosive device (IED) blasts. It also claimed that 46 vehicles were destroyed and weapons were seized at 18 locations.
The video reportedly contains footage of military vehicles and security installations being targeted during alleged attacks. The BLA also claimed responsibility for 25 raids and blockade operations across several areas of the province.
According to the organisation, 37 alleged intelligence operatives linked to the Pakistani military were “neutralised”, while 21 Pakistani personnel and alleged intelligence agents were captured. The BLA further claimed that 33 of its own fighters were killed during operations against Pakistani security forces in September.
The organisation said it conducted 25 operations between 14 and 23 September in areas including Panjgur, Kech, Kharan, Khuzdar, Mastung, Washuk and Nushki.
During this period, the BLA claimed that 18 Pakistani military personnel and members of what it described as state-backed armed groups were killed. It also alleged that its fighters targeted military convoys, checkpoints, surveillance infrastructure, supply routes and government installations.
The BLA further claimed that its fighters temporarily took control of some areas and government facilities.
The claims come amid a long-running insurgency in Balochistan involving Pakistani security forces and Baloch separatist groups. The BLA is one of the principal armed separatist organisations operating in the province.
However, the BLA’s claims regarding the number of operations, casualties, captured personnel and destroyed vehicles have not been independently verified.
The United States designated the BLA as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation in August 2025. The US government describes the group as an armed separatist organisation that has carried out attacks against Pakistani security forces and civilians.
