The short viral clip, which features a watermark from an X (formerly Twitter) handle Pakistan Untold, whose bio describes it as presenting ‘Pakistan through Hindu eye’, has been shared by numerous users alongside commentary and screenshots from news outlets. India Today could not independently verify the authenticity of the recording.
In the excerpt from what appears to be a televised interview, Asif is heard harshly criticising Netanyahu over the ongoing conflict in Gaza, portraying him as the “biggest criminal of humanity.”
He is quoted as saying that if Washington truly valued human rights, it should seize Netanyahu and bring him to justice, drawing a comparison to a reported US operation that captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
The remarks went further to suggest that Turkey could also abduct Netanyahu, with Asif saying Pakistanis should “pray that it happens,” according to media reports.
The exchange reportedly took place during a live broadcast hosted by senior journalist Hamid Mir. At one point in the discussion, Mir appears to interrupt and call for a commercial break, later indicating that Asif would not continue on air after the break.
