International Desk: The Republic of Balochistan has strongly condemned the reported Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure, including an international airport in Kuwait and other installations in Bahrain, describing them as a serious threat to regional peace, stability and civilian safety.
In a statement issued on June 3, the Republic of Balochistan said that attacks on civilian and economic infrastructure undermine international security and violate the sovereignty of nations. The statement noted that authorities are closely monitoring developments and remain in contact with members of the Baloch community residing in Kuwait and Bahrain.
According to the statement, no casualties among Baloch residents in the two Gulf nations have been reported so far. The Republic of Balochistan expressed concern for the safety and well-being of civilians affected by the reported attacks and said it would continue to follow the situation closely.
The statement also highlighted the longstanding historical and cultural ties between the Baloch people and the Gulf region, noting the contributions of Baloch communities to the defence, security, economic development and public administration of several Gulf countries.
Reaffirming its support for Kuwait, Bahrain and other Gulf nations, the Republic of Balochistan expressed solidarity with governments and citizens facing security challenges and called for peace, stability, cooperation and regional security. It further stressed the importance of resilience, unity and international cooperation in addressing threats to sovereignty and economic stability across the Gulf region.
