The Republic of Balochistan has issued a sharply worded statement declaring full support for Bharat’s principal stand on Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), while unleashing a fierce denunciation of Pakistan’s conduct at home and abroad.
In uncompromising language, the statement brands Pakistan a “terrorist state” and accuses it of systematic harassment and persecution of Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and other minority communities. It asserts that Pakistan has forfeited any right to lecture Bharat, Balochistan, Afghanistan or other nations on minority rights.
According to the statement, Pakistan’s military allegedly relies on religious and jihadi extremist groups as instruments of repression, using them to suppress and intimidate Hindus and other minorities. This, it claims, exposes a deep contradiction between Pakistan’s rhetoric and its actions.
The allegations extend to what the Republic of Balochistan describes as widespread destruction of religious sites. Pakistani external forces are accused of destroying nearly 40 mosques in Balochistan, including through direct bombardment, the burning of the Quran and the abduction of mosque leaders.
The statement highlights what it calls the first and most symbolic attack: the mosque of the ruler of the Republic of Balochistan, the Khan of Kalat. It alleges that invading Pakistani forces rolled tanks into civilian areas and fired artillery and shells, leaving visible mortar marks that, it says, still scar the mosque today. These marks are presented as evidence of Pakistan’s “brutalities, occupation and un-Islamic behaviour”.
A video circulating on social media has been cited in support of these claims. The statement concludes by portraying Pakistan’s actions in Balochistan as a stark example of state violence and hypocrisy, standing in direct opposition to its public claims of defending religious and minority rights.
