Hyrbyair Marri has shared a message on X praising the Sikh community of Balochistan and describing them as an inseparable part of the region’s cultural and social identity. In the post, Marri stated that Sikhs have lived in Balochistan for more than two centuries and have contributed to the region’s traditions, trade, and communal harmony.
The statement emphasized that the Baloch nation considers Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, and other minorities as equal members of society, living with “dignity, honor, and peace.” According to the post, Baloch culture rejects religious extremism and promotes coexistence among communities.
Marri also contrasted the situation in Balochistan with conditions faced by minorities in Pakistan, alleging incidents of forced conversions, discrimination, and attacks on places of worship in different parts of the country. The post cited the Hinglaj Mata Mandir as an example of religious freedom and coexistence in Balochistan.
The message concluded by describing Balochistan as a land that stands for “humanity, tolerance, coexistence, and religious freedom,” and included the slogan “#BalochistanIsNotPakistan.”
