New Delhi: Delhi BJP Spokesperson Shri Praveen Shankar Kapoor said the Aam Aadmi Party’s protest over alleged “vote theft”, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and its demand for the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner reflected the party’s political frustration.

Kapoor said that despite its efforts, the AAP failed to attract significant participation from ordinary youth or Delhi residents in the protest held today, describing the exercise as a complete failure.
He alleged that the AAP was facing the prospect of defeat in the upcoming elections in Punjab and Goa, along with the possible loss of its national party status. According to Kapoor, the party was therefore targeting the Election Commission and raising allegations to deflect attention from what he described as an anticipated electoral setback.
The Delhi BJP spokesperson also urged AAP leaders to focus on issues within their own government in Punjab rather than blaming the Election Commission.
“Instead of blaming the Election Commission, AAP leaders would do better to curb corruption in their own government in Punjab; perhaps then they might manage to win a few seats,” Kapoor said.
