New Delhi India . A journey of harmony, service and humanity emerging from Gorakhpur has now found expression in international literature. A poetic biography based on the life, vision, social initiatives and philosophy of universal harmony of Sant Dr. Saurabh Pandey, known as Sauhard Shiromani and Jagat Dharma Chakravarti, has been written by Croatian author Ivan Gacina.
The portrayal of an Indian saint’s life and philosophy through poetry by a foreign literary writer is significant from both literary and cultural perspectives. Gacina presents Sant Saurabh’s journey not merely through events and achievements, but as a broader vision of humanity, service, compassion, harmony and universal brotherhood.
The book gives special attention to the vision of Dhara Dham, conceived as a platform for dialogue, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence among different religions, cultures and traditions. This vision resonates with the Indian philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — the world is one family.
