Pankaj Nath, Assam: The District Health Society of Kamrup, Assam held a comprehensive review meeting, chaired by Kamrup District Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra, on Saturday at the Conference Hall of the Integrated District Commissioner’s Office in Amingaon to evaluate and bolster the region’s healthcare delivery framework. The District Commissioner reviewed the status of various healthcare services and programmes being implemented across Kamrup District, with emphasis on service delivery, accessibility and effective implementation at the grassroots level. He took stock of the challenges faced by the health department and stressed the need for coordinated and timely action to address gaps in service delivery. He directed the officials concerned to adopt focused measures to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and services, improve accessibility and ensure quality healthcare for the people of the district. The meeting was attended by Monika Borgohain, Additional District Commissioner (Health); Dr. Ajit Das, Joint Director of Health Services, Kamrup; along with key officials and dignitaries from the Kamrup Health Department.
