New Delhi: Professor KP Singh has been elected unopposed as President of the Delhi Library Association (DLA) for the 2026–2030 term, marking his second consecutive tenure at the helm of one of India’s oldest professional library bodies.

Currently serving as Head of the Department of Library and Information Science at University of Delhi, Prof. Singh brings extensive experience as an academician, administrator and researcher. His re-election reflects continued confidence in his leadership, under which the association achieved notable financial stability and organisational growth during the 2022–2026 term.

Announcing the new executive committee, Dr. Reetu Verma confirmed key appointments, including Prof. Meera as Senior Vice President, Dr. Kumar Sanjay as Vice-President, Dr. Jnanendra Narayan Singh as General Secretary, Dr. Mahesh Chand as Treasurer, and Dr. Taruna Joshi along with Mr. Rajkumar Patton as Secretaries.
