New Delhi,: The Delhi Legislative Assembly has finalised an extensive legislative agenda for its Monsoon Session, with two Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) reports and three significant reform Bills slated for consideration between August 7 and 11, 2026.
Announcing the decisions after a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta said the Committee unanimously approved the legislative business for the Sixth Session of the Eighth Legislative Assembly.
According to the approved agenda, Chief Minister and Finance Minister Rekha Gupta will table Report No. 01 of 2026, the C&AG report for the year ended March 31, 2023 relating to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, along with Report No. 02 of 2026 on State Finance for the year 2024–25.
Power Minister Ashish Sood will also lay before the House the notification and corrigendum concerning the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Open Access) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026.
The Assembly is also scheduled to introduce three important Bills during the session. These include The Delhi (Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Services) Bill, 2026, which seeks to repeal the 2011 law on time-bound public services, an amendment to the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board Act, and legislation to repeal the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Incredible India) Bed and Breakfast Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2007, along with its subsequent amendments.
The Business Advisory Committee meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht, Chief Whip Abhay Verma, Om Prakash Sharma, Som Dutt, Jitender Mahajan and Suriender Kumar, who unanimously endorsed the legislative schedule for the forthcoming session.
