Pankaj Nath, Assam: The Prantiya Acharya-Acharya Prashikshan Varg–2026, organised by Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam, an affiliate of Vidya Bharati, concluded successfully on Saturday after a 15-day residential training programme held at Shankardev Shishu/Vidya Niketan, Pathsala, in Bajali district. According to Mukuteswar Goswami, Prasar Sanyojak of Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam, the training camp, which commenced on 10 July, brought together 88 Acharyas from 34 Niketans under 15 Sankuls, representing 12 districts and three Vibhags of the organisation across Assam. The participants included 31 Acharyas and 57 Acharyas, who received intensive training in modern teaching methodologies, personality development, organisational philosophy, value-based education, and national consciousness. The inaugural programme on 10 July began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Sadananda Talukdar, Adhyaksha of the Pathsala Niketan Parichalana Samiti. The welcome address was delivered by Mrigen Sharma, Sampadak of the Parichalana Samiti, while the introductory remarks were presented by Ashutosh Barman, Prashikshan Pramukh. The inaugural address was delivered by Kulendra Kumar Bhagawati, Adhyaksha of Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam.
During the training programme, 34 Samal Byaktis delivered sessions on a wide range of educational and organisational subjects. Distinguished personalities who guided the participants included Dr. Umesh Chakravarty, Assam Kshetra Sanghachalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh; Bashistha Bujar Baruah, Kshetra Pracharak; Tirthankar Das Kalita, Kshetra Bauddhik Pramukh; Brahmaji Rao, Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Saha-Mantri; Dr. Pawan Tiwari, Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra Sangathan Mantri; Nripen Barman, Assam Prant Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh; and Jagannath Rajbanshi, Sadharan Sampadak of Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam, besides several eminent educationists, Samal Byaktis and Sangathan Karyakartas.
The training programme combined theoretical and practical sessions focusing on modern pedagogy, Bharatiya Jeevan Darshan, moral values, discipline, leadership development and organisational functioning. Academic sessions, cultural activities, yoga, Bauddhik discussions and various practical programmes contributed significantly to the holistic development of the participants. The successful conclusion of the Prantiya Acharya-Acharya Prashikshan Varg–2026 reaffirmed Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam’s commitment to building a value-based, nation-oriented education system rooted in Bharatiya culture while empowering Acharyas to nurture future generations with character, competence and commitment.
