International Desk: In a message released on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Republic of Balochistan extended greetings to people around the world, describing yoga as a universal practice that promotes physical well-being, mental harmony and spiritual balance.
The statement said yoga has transcended borders, cultures and traditions, and is widely recognised for improving health, reducing stress, encouraging discipline and fostering a balanced lifestyle. It added that, in an increasingly fast-paced world, yoga serves as a bridge between the body and mind while contributing to peace and mutual understanding.
According to the message, yoga is witnessing growing acceptance in the Republic of Balochistan, with students, professionals, women, senior citizens, athletes and community members increasingly participating in yoga activities. The statement further claimed that both Baloch and Pashtun communities are embracing the practice as part of a broader commitment to healthy living, mindfulness and social well-being.
Reaffirming its support for promoting health, peace and human unity through yoga, the Republic of Balochistan conveyed its best wishes to all nations and people on International Yoga Day.
